Greetings Everyone!

It’s been a long time since I posted a message to you. It hasn’t been because I didn’t want to. I had a serious accident several months ago that has led to the 4th surgery coming up the week after next.

It has meant a lot of pain and time off from my role as an Associate Minister at Gold Canyon United Methodist Church.

Worst of all: no golf.  Using walkers and wheel chairs is not my thing!  The good news is recovery is in sight and I should be 100% by summer.

Nancy and I have been able to continue leading our Grief Support Group every Monday (1 PM at Gold Canyon UMC). There are usually 12-16 people in the group, several of them with very recent losses.

I have been doing grief groups for 41 years-and never cease being amazed at the ability of people to get through terrible losses and move on to new, full life.

If you don’t have a copy of Life After Loss,  it’s available on this site, at the church, book stores, or order online from Amazon.  As with so many others, if you have had the loss of a loved one, you will find it an amazing help.  A recent letter said:  “Consider Life After Loss”  a flashlight for finding your way in the darkness of death.”

Peace and Joy,

Bob Deits
